About the Event
JBAB and JB Andrews Outdoor Recreation is offering four opportunities to learn the basics of kayaking. The clinics will take place at JBAB Capital Cove Marina. Participants will learn basic kayaking safety, techniques, and terminology from trained staff. Each training will include plenty of time on the water, with a chance to leisurely paddle around an area of the Potomac river to get comfortable with kayaking. Kayaks, paddles, and personal flotation devices (PFDs) will be provided.
The clinics are $25.00 per person and open to anyone age 10 and up. Participants 18 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Minimum participants: 5 Max: 15
